Our Resolute 4200 Series Includes Premium Casement & Awning Windows
The Resolute 4200 Series is a complete line including premium casement and awning windows. Often called “crank-outs,” these single sash products look like fixed picture windows but are operational. Casement windows are hinged on the side with a sash that opens like a door. On the other hand, awning windows have scissor hinges that vent or open their sash from the bottom. Since both windows swing outward, their screens are mounted inside rather than outside. This differs from most traditional windows but is perfect for these types. Lastly, our Resolute 4200 premium casement and awning windows are available in three colors, white, almond, and clay.

Why does Casement Hardware Matter?
The quality and long-term viability of any casement or awning window depends on robust, heavy-duty hinges and operators. That’s because these windows require hardware that will fully support their operable sashes over the long term. If their hinges are bent or failing, casement and awning windows simply won’t fully close or seal.

Their European roots in heavy-duty hardware for large windows was perfect for us. Lastly, Roto products cost a bit more, but their reliability is unquestionable.

That’s because these specialty windows are not often handled or installed by builders, framers, or remodelers. Installing casement and awning windows requires a different set of skills than most of these tradesmen possess.
