Horizontal slider windows are common in bedrooms or anywhere operable windows are needed high on the wall for privacy or furniture placement. These windows have an operable sash which opens sideways and a fixed sash. Horizontal sliders also come in our 3-Lite configurations featuring an operable panel on each end and a middle-fixed panel. This type of window is usually best for wider openings. Horizontal Slider Windows are included the Ringer cash and carry stock window line and are available in 21 different sizes and styles. All our windows are made with energy efficient, Low-E 366, double pane Cardinal Glass.

Did you know that fixed picture windows are often joined (or mulled) together to create expansive views? This is a very common way to create more beautiful rooms in your home. They work well in many types of rooms. We also make smaller sizes as transoms and side-lites for door surrounds. Privacy and tempered glass can be ordered as well. Fixed picture windows are part of the Ringer ready-made, stock window line and come standard in white linen but custom colors and sizes can be ordered.

“Crank-outs” are another common way to describe casement windows. They’re often called this because of hinges that allow them to open from the left or right like a door.  Casement windows offer bigger exit spaces needed to meet egress requirements sometimes required in bedrooms to be code compliant. Additionally, they provide superb ventilation in rooms and thus work well over kitchen sinks and in bathrooms.
