To be fair, most windows leave the factory in great shape and large manufacturers honor product warranties. Thus, when problems with new windows arise, they’re generally installation related. This is because a lot of inexperienced, uncaring people install windows for a living. Unfortunately, if you have new window issues you may find yourself in a difficult position. Your installer will likely blame the manufacturer even if their shoddy work is the cause. And if you file a warranty claim, a manufacturer’s rep will visit and tell you that installation is responsible. Based on what we’ve seen this occurs about 85% of the time. Obviously, it can be maddening for the homeowner. With neither side willing to help, they’re likely pay to fix something they shouldn’t. By contrast, Ringer Windows has in-house installation teams so there’s no worry when we replace your windows.
