The purpose of this blog series is to truly inform and enlighten everyone with fact-based data and statistics about windows. I want to help those who are serious about learning as much as possible about residential windows before buying them. Therefore, we’ll discuss a range of topics from simple to complex with others based purely on common sense. In addition, I will point out third party content that I feel is accurate and reliable and provide links where possible.
Will This Blog Series Work for All Who Need Windows?
Most window consumers are one-time buyers, not building professionals. That’s why they often think all windows look pretty much the same. Many are also cost-driven so my posts may not be very useful to them. However, for those who truly wish to understand windows, I have no doubt that I can provide help and guidance. I’ll discuss both new construction scenarios and full-service replacement window installation. In doing so I’ll refer to the way we do things here in central Texas. Finally, I promise that all information will be honest, unbiased, and in concert with local building customs.
